The CAS Single-Sign-On system is used by several DTU homepages, og when you are logged into this, you will automatically be logged into all of these if you visit them.
Three ways to log in
The Single-Sign-On system on DTU supports three different validation methods. You can log in using a DTU login (initials or studentnumber) and password, but you can also use NemID if you have that. But to be able use NemID your CPR number have to be registered to your account on DTU. The last option is Automatic AD login. This is something you can only use when you are on a computer that is logged into the Active Directory on DTU, and the IT-department have allowed the option on the computer. If this option is used you will automatically log in to any site using the Single-Sign-On system with the same username and password used to log on the computer.

"Warn when reusing credentials"?
The Single-Sign-On system is used on many different websites on DTU. Every time you go to a website where a login is needed the Single-Sign-On system will be asked if you are already logged in or not. If you are already logged in your login credentials will be sent to the website automatically. The information sent includes your name and username, but not more sensitve information like passwords and CPR numbers. If you want to be warned when this happens you have to mark the box "Warn me when reusing credentials" on the login page before login in.
